Hello all
by Stefan, 27-05-2022, 01:33 PM
Hello all, my name is Stefan and I own a Nissan 300zx.

I was at Japshow last weekend at SantaPod and was more than impressed with the display of cars, the approachability and knowledge of the members I spoke with, including one 'mini member' who was too young to own/drive a car but obviously showed a passion for cars. This lead to me signing up to the forum as I feel this is the type of club I would like to be a part of.

Hopefully I can positively contribute to the club and look forwards to becoming part of the Outlaw Jap Club community.

Stefan.

Upon recommendation from Rabster, I have finally joined OJC (mostly just to look at his build thread and steal his electronic prowess). While I'm here I may as well share my motors, My Ibiza Shed (More in other makes) and my IS daily:

Bought back in March to take the strain off the Ibiza

[Image: 10157370_10203311216932254_1085976904_n.jpg]

****** good car for £1750, only issues were aircon doesn't work and two of the wheels struggled to hold air.

Not fun.

No matter, modding started with a red tint as I hate those lights.

I'm not very good at wrapping.

Looks alright from a distance Tongue Need to re-do it as they've faded to pink now anyway.

Future plans are to fettle with the electrics for dat luxury; full closure, auto up/down, mirror folding, take me home lights etc... Lowering and wheels will likely be in the form of 40-60mm 6/8kg springs and r33 gtr/evo 9 wheels.

Ciao

HELP HID Kit not working
by AARONMCCONNELL1, 22-05-2022, 05:25 AM
well just bought two brand new ultra HID kits one 9005 for main beam
and one 9006 for dip beam.
Iv fitted many sets of these basically plug and go. ( IN OTHER CARS )
For some reason tho these ones wont work in my is200.
Iv tried both hid bulbs and ballast's from each kit and no light from them
when I put the standard bulbs back in they work fine..
Has any one any idea as to why this is ?
Any help would be great

THANKS

Help wanted - near Horsham

I'm after buying some new seats. But the seller is in Horsham.
Is there any members nearby who are going to japshow and can pick them up for me please.

They're recliners so can stretch out across a back seat, not fixed buckets.

Thanks

strut brace
by kaykay, 16-05-2022, 04:13 PM
hi there, iv recently bought a strut brace ( thx Robin Extremebhp MilnerSmile) it fits to the car(after some mods tho) the problem iv got is that when I came to close my bonnet it was being stopped by the strut brace hitting off the support beams in the bonnet. is there any way of sorting this out by either raising the bonnet ( if so then how would I do it) or is there any other non expensive way to sort out this problem?

thanks.Smile
