Number Plate Rant!

Sorry to rant guys but just gone to the gym where I work (Private University) and a Police Officer was walking around and came up to me......I'm thinking he's going to say something about noise as my NA is rather loud

NOPE.......apparently my front and rear number plates do not conform and ANPR would not pick them up......ABSOLUTE BO**OX, my front was made by Jurgen at JM-Imports and my rear has the British Standards stamp on it FFS! Apparently lettering is too thin and the spacing is wrong front and rear

Hello everyone,

I'm Scott, I signed up a few weeks ago maybe months ago after longsh07 told me about this site while I was looking at buying a new car and a few weeks ago I picked up a cosmic grey civic type R 55 plate (been wanting one for years now) so I thought I would properly introduce myself.

Had a great day Sunday at Modified Live at Brands Hatch, though it rained and rained with a bit more rain the sun showed its face in the afternoon... All was good until i left, as i was just about to leave the gates i saw a police car then thought **** forgot to put my number plate on !

Pulled over, stuck my number plate in the window and took off again hoping they would not say anything

Anyways as i pulled out, instead of my girlfriend being the 3rd car behind me it was the police car....OH GREAT

So then he over to the car in front so he was behind me now.... I thought ....going to get pulled over

Then He over took me slowly with the lights on and as i was getting ready to pull over i saw a cheeky friendly face smiling through the window who is a mate from the Supra club !! lol

Hi OLD boy from rugby (TONY) hoping to attend some of your meet,s in time but my RX~8 off the road at the moment body parts being sprayed over at spalding bumper front and rear, new bonnet, in pearl orange flip, should get the parts back soon so hopefully get the car back on the road in late august.

The cars a 338 BHP pettite supercharge, HKS ECU run rotary engine mapped ,by TDI london with Mazda ECU running second as the HKS ECU works 25% faster than the MAZDA this was done so i got, one the performance and, two better fuel consumption than the standard RX~8.

The interior has been done from the ground up including the boot space by classic car services
in leicester.

Other engine mods have been done by my self and bespoke performance london

There are a hole host of up grades from brakes/ suspension/ engine/ exhaust/interior/ entertainment / exterior body/ wheels tyres/ etc etc .

As i said before hope to come over at a later meet when she's up and running with her new bits on. thanks tony.c
