from Jap to German
by Chri5, 22-04-2020, 09:36 AM
well the time to sell my beloved rx8 has been and gone and tbh i do feel gutted. and this is the 1st time in nearly 10 years that 've not been jap.
but on the other side of the coin i am going to car thats bigger, easier to load kids into and luggage etc considerably cheaper to run. (15mpg on average isn't good)

so this week i will be picking up an audi s4 avant Wink
320bhp Wink 4wd tonnes of torque (figures to follow)
h &r coilovers, viper remapped ecu, milltek exhaust and a few other bits.

needs a little tidying and a few more toys adding but apart from that everything is good Wink
not many pix atm but they will follow
hope you like

No, the title's not the start of a terrible joke

As you helped me fix a little issue with my key fob, I figured I'd better introduce myself. I'm a Lexus owner - got my IS200 last August as a replacement for my mk1 mx5. Two slipped discs and sports suspension made it waaaayy too uncomfortable to drive the 5 so I traded up to the Lexus. Now I got remote central locking, heated electric mirrors, heated seats and air con I think I'd find it very hard to go back. I'll always have a soft spot for the mazda and as soon as my back is sorted, I'll be driving one on track again.

Hey everyone Im Kaz,

Im proppa new to all ov this so you will have to go easy on me, if only just to start off with };-)

Ive always had a love for cars since been a little country bumpkin but have never had the bottle ect to act on it but now ....... here i am lol
Ive only just started to do my Honda Civic up in the last few weeks starting small (apart from my spoiler as some of you at the RSCS last week will know lol) so any tips ect will be greatly appresiated.

Question for you all, how much would you expect to be charged to fit a carbon wrapp to a roof?? been quoted £60.00 nd thats with me helping out, is that about right??

I love to have a laugh but i have a tendency to be pretty ditzy at times ... so you have all now been warned!!

Ok well i think thats prob enough of me for you all to start off with so i'll cyaaaaaaa xxxx

Back in an S2000!! Its all about the VTEC!!
by Anees, 19-04-2020, 07:48 PM
Hi Guys,

I sold my previous S2000 to buy my Evo which I love but I have always missed the S2000 so last year during winter I bought an S2000 but kept it off the road because the weather was awful and it was to be used as a third car so I thought I would get it modified just before the start of the summer.

I was planning on taking some decent pictures today but unfortunately the weather has turned and it has rained all day so these quick pics I took with my phone yesterday will have to do for now.

Notable Mods are:

Smoothed Front End - looks much slicker in my opinion without the ugly washer jets and the numberplate holder.
Genuine Honda Racing Red and Black Badges
Lightweight Enkei PF-01 17" Staggered Wheels with 17x9 Rear and 17x8 Front. Perfect S2000 fitment and I think they look awesome. Fitted with brand new Yokohama AD08 Tyres.
AEM V2 Induction Kit -nice roar.
Leather Wrapped Steering wheel with red stitching - makes the car feel much more premium!
Geometry set to WIM recommended settings.

Overall I am pretty pleased to be back in an S2000. Smile Car is a little two quiet for me and I am slightly dissapointed with the induction kit, it is not loud enough!!! I had a K'N system in my previous S2000 which was awesome but I had heard good thing about the AEM and the design seems better but its not as loud... still sure I'll think of something.....

Thanks

the silver V6 is donating the bonnet, front bumper, grille, sideskirts and spats (bottom of the car between the rear bumper and rear wheels) but as these would all need spraying i am thinking of swapping the doors, rear bumper and tailgate too then spraying the rest of the car to match the parts i put on. there are advantages such as i would definately have electric heated folding mirrors (i need them folded to get on my driveway) plus integrated fog lights with only wiring to have done
or i could have a 2 tone car with silver bumpers, spats and sideskirts which would mean only the bonnet would need spraying but the concern is that it would appear to be an unfinished bodykit being added which looks ****
