Status Report on the Driving Barista Application Project Which Aims to Prevent Smartp

Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota), Komeda Co., Ltd. (Komeda), and KDDI Corporation (KDDI) have been running a project that utilizes a smartphone application called Driving Barista. The project aims to to reduce the number of traffic accidents in Aichi Prefecture which are caused by drivers using their smartphones while driving. During the 17 days between September 20 to October 6, the application was downloaded about 37,000 times and was used to record about 2.6 million km of distance driven. This means that a cumulative distance equivalent to about 65 trips around the earth, or about 7 round trips from the earth to the moon had been driven safely by drivers while refraining from using their smartphones. The project gave those who actually used the application in a fun way to increase their level of awareness about reducing traffic accidents, and has helped many people inside and outside of Aichi Prefecture understand the importance of preventing smartphone-related traffic accidents.

Mardenborough and Hoshino in title fight with second in Thailand

BURIRAM, Thailand – Jann Mardenborough and Kasuki Hoshino have charged back into championship contention in the Super GT GT300 with a storming second place in Thailand. The duo are now only five points off the championship lead with two rounds remaining at the season finale at Twin-Ring Motegi on November 12 and 13. After starting on the front row, Hoshino jumped into the race lead from the green flag.Although they briefly fell back a few positions when making their routine pit stop, Mardenborough pulled out a ferocious chase in the second half of the race to finish second with only one second separating them from the race leader. "It was all right at the start," said Mardenborough. "Kazuki did a perfect job of handing the car over in the lead. We had to change all four tires. We exited the pits with me in the car in fourth. I quickly overtook the BMW for third, and then I was stuck behind the second place car for a long time. I was able to make it into second place and chase down the leader but didn't have enough laps remaining to pull off a move. We are second now in the championship – just five points behind the leader. Chris Forsberg becomes the first three-time Formula Drift World Champion in his Nissa

IRWINDALE, Calif. – Under the smoke and lights of Irwindale Speedway in California, Chris Forsberg became the first three-time Formula Drift World Champion. This achievement comes after a record-setting season, with Forsberg taking six consecutive podiums in his Nissan 370Z.While Forsberg led the championship standings over 2015 Champion Fredric Aasbo coming into the deciding weekend at Irwindale Speedway, the Maryland native needed a strong performance to seal the deal. Spirits were high as Forsberg's 1,000-hp VK56-powered 370Z wailed in a cloud of smoke against underdog Pat Mordaunt. That all came to a grinding halt when a slight miscalculation sent Forsberg's car careening into the wall. My Gto project :)

The Hi all my names Stef and ive gone and got myself a mk1 gto tt

Been into my jap cars for a while (mr2/prelude/civicrx8/fd rx7/s13 200sx) but with my last project s13 deciding to blow up after making it my main car :rage:
I had to get a car quick, had a rx8 for a bit but didn't like it so started searching for a 300zx or gto. Had a decent budget at first but life and bills got in the way and that soon went down but a stroke of luck led me to the one I got for a bargain price,it's not perfect but it's more than I thought I'd be able to get. :+1:
Got some big plans for It once I can save some money up! Lol anyway here's some pics of when I got her







That was over a year ago now, started to change a few things, new front bumper,modified my side skirts





I then purchased a set of cheap 20inch alloys and some cheap coilovers (front only, cut rear springs) plus the only rear spoiler I liked







And that's where I'm up to, just a quick summery as writing these up takes ages! Lol

So that leads me up to my recent purchase, got a set of s13 200sx v2 Rocketbunny arches that I plan on modding to fit,but I'm amazed on how close they are! got a few more tricks to do yet but I'll now keep this updated now with a bit more content rather than the quick writeup ive just done! anyway here's the pics on how she sits with the arches just placed on and some more on how she sits as of now (I'll let the pics do the talking )

















Like I said just a quick catchup on we're im at with it,will keep it updated in more detail from now on, ive got loads more pics on the details on fitting the kit if anyone wants to see them but for now this will have to do! Hahahahaha!

Just thought I'd say hello :thumbup1: I own a mitsubishi Gto twin turbo (mk1) been a member of a few forums (driftworks, Sxoc, Zilvia.net ) and both Gto/3000gt clubs but Ive always liked a bit of variation so came on here to check it out
