Stephen Hunter, who starred in the film franchise The Hobbit and the current television series Janet King, will appear in the role of Moylan.

Nissan statement on Korean Ministry of Environment report

June 7, 2016 Japan - Nissan today responded to a final report by the Korean Ministry of Environment (MOE) that the Nissan Qashqai sold in Korea was found to be arbitrarily setting its engine system to illegally control gas emissions.“Nissan Korea’s priorities are our customers, dealers and working closely and transparently with the Korean government concerning real-world NOx emissions of the Nissan Qashqai.Senior Nissan representatives met several times with Ministry of Environment officials to discuss the government’s concerns. We maintain, as we have throughout the discussions, that we have complied with all existing regulations and did not use an “unjustified arbitrary setup” or an illegal defeat device in the vehicle. The Qashqai sold in Korea has been properly homologated to Euro 6 emission standards. This vehicle was certified by the Korean government last year under regulations permitting the importation and sales of vehicles that comply with these emission standards.We are now studying the conclusions reached by the MOE and are currently exploring our options.As a company that strives to be an environmental leader, Nissan is eager to contribute to further reduction of vehicle emissions. My Supra thread

I recently fulfilled a life long goal and purchased a mk4 Supra. I've only got one photo of it at the moment, but I'll go and take some next time I get the chance to visit Matt, as it's still parked up outside his house for the next few months.

Plans for the car in no particular order:

Weight loss (lots of carbon and the 2j is going)
3uzfe and 6 speed a761e auto, which comes with manual shift from the factory.
Lightweight wheels
Eventually a syvecs and flappy paddle kit

The main goal of the car is to be light and have good balance. I'm not in a rush to finish it, so it will be done properly.

Stage 1 is to restore it to being a good nick car, as it's currently a bit ratty. Photos to follow when I get the chance

Current spec:
Black Na 5 speed manual. Jap spec import with UK big brakes, limited slip diff and tte Borbet wheels. Also had the rare black headliner which I'm quite pleased about.
