What do people make of all this race fixing stuff from Singapore last year? It all sounds like complete rubbish to me, but then I'm confused by how far they're taking it in terms of an investigation.
Especially seeing as if someone said the same thing about McLaren stealing Ferrari secrets I probably also would have called that rubbish but that ended up being true.......

I'm guessing that since Nelson Piquet got sacked from Renault, he's decided to speak out about some things to the FIA.
If it is from those circumstances, then I'm a lot more inclined to believe that there really is something behind it, I'm not sure Piquet would make up some story to the FIA like that ?
My reasoning is all based on the assumption that the info has come directly from Piquet though.

Surely there would be implications for Piquet though for going along with it? (Loss of race license, etc.)
But it is an odd story indeed, crashing one car to benefit the other is a really weird way to go about it.........

Indeed, Piquet could be in a lot of trouble too. Although if it is him that's grassed up Renault (and there's no confirmation that's the case, yet), maybe he thinks he can defend himself with "the team ordered me to do it and I didn't have any choice" ?

Marsdendean Mind you, if the teams cheating the teams cheating. If no one employs him, i think it just shows the other teams are bent as a two bob note!He still went along with it though, so that doesn't show a lot of integrity......

Good question. But Massa finished 13th. Alonso was the only Renault finisher, so everyone would move up one place. Still no point for Massa though, and Hamilton would get an extra 2 points.
