Updated battery - is200turbo - 16-08-2024
Has any 1 with amps in there is200 had to update the battery and alternator. I will be running 3 amps with a combined output of about 6000 watts and 2 runs of 1/0 gauge power wire just to be on the safe side.

I havent run that much but have uprated the battery to a gel one - just because lol
but its unlike thats the RMS of your amp and so what it actually uses, the 6000 watts is a max and will very rarely reach it.

That sounds about right stav so will the battery help everything ice, running the car etc.
What battery have you got, I've been looking at the optima yellow battery's

I had a yellow but i swapped to a odyssey.
Updating your grounds, main and main power cables (not only to the amp but to the alternator) will help
