Windows 7 - FirebirdPhil - 05-03-2018 Is this a con site? Windows 7 free download??? I found it in a Google add-words link. http://www.free-premium-downloads.com/windows7.php Windows 7 - Dark Samurai - 05-03-2018 looks like it would be mate stay away. what make of laptop/computer do you have? Windows 7 - FirebirdPhil - 05-03-2018 Lenovo :thumbup1: running Vista, I have no real issues with Vista but it takes FOREVER to boot, and the snap function would be useful. The laptop is OK with W7 and my A3 printer scanner and Laser printer is OK also, so an easy upgrade.............. Windows 7 - Dark Samurai - 05-03-2018 lenovos are cool netbooks mate, my mate has one. and if it was advent i have a rstore disc that will work with any advent laptop. Windows 7 - FirebirdPhil - 05-03-2018 Its a full size laptop, not a net book, the net book runs XP and only does internet at home via a mobile dongle thing. Funny how that boots up in less then 2 mins, and the Lenovo takes at least 10mins - no joke. I don't bother turning it off its that slow at booting up. Windows 7 - Dark Samurai - 05-03-2018 really mate, thats a long time! Windows 7 - FirebirdPhil - 05-03-2018 yea its slow as **** until its warmed up also - like me getting old - nearly 2 now. Windows 7 - Jambo - 05-03-2018 MY PC is 5 Years old. Single Core Processor (2.0GHz) and 1.5GB RAM but runs Windows 7 smoothly. Windows Media Player crashes the odd time but i think its becase i have about 3000 songs on my playlist. Takes about 40 seconds - 1minute to boot up but after that its fine! Looks like a con-site though Windows 7 - FirebirdPhil - 05-03-2018 Thanks guys - will download from a reputable on line shop. its not a lot of £'s really. i have dual core running plenty of memory so W7 will be OK. Windows 7 - Dark Samurai - 05-03-2018 my mac takes approx 10 seconds to boot up lol running 1gb ram but then duel core 2.0ghz processors. |
