hi there,
i am thinking to get a hks camp in future and want to connect it to a screen like Rabster has done. if i buy the later sat nav with the wider screen. i know i would need to put a after market screen in it which should not be a problem but i was wondering how would the motor go up and down when the ignition is on and off. hard??

Asi i think the up and down bit is very easy - i can do you an early smaller screen unit if its any good - say yes and ill pm you price and location

and i dont think you have to change the screen you just run an inline modulator or something similar to use the oem screen for other video stuff

If the car doesn't have nav to start with it's nearly impossible to get the screen to function as all the screen controlls are done via the nav interface not the screen my housing was a 5" screen but I changed the casing to 7" cost about £80 for the parts
As for the up down etc that's 4 wires
