hids - garyskisplym - 07-04-2018 Can anyone please point me in the right direction for a decent hid kit. Been hold to stay away from cheap kits but i dont really know what im looking at Gary hids - kam05 - 07-04-2018 You want this kit: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Xenon-HID-Conversion-KIT-H1-H3-H7-H9-H11-HB3-HB4-9006-/330379335700?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cec249814 I got the same kit from the same seller last year- fast delivery. Go for 6000k bulbs. hids - SHAHZ - 07-04-2018 A few of us have bought from here if you can wait a little for delivery, think it took under a week when i ordered. The only thing is, they come with a warrenty however would be a pain to post back if they become faulty......ive not had any problems wiith mine though....although the link Kam posted does look really good for the price, 2 years warrenty and they are the small ballasts! hids - Dan_Turism0 - 07-04-2018 few of us got ours from HERE took under a week and mine have been running fine for well over a year now Just pm the guy the colour temp and bulb fitment you want and job done
hids - reganlives - 07-04-2018 I got my HIDs from diane-shop as well and think they're great although one of my ballasts has failed but they come with an 18month warranty and when I got in touch with them about the failed ballast they told me to send both back and will replace both of them so I get 2 new ballasts now. I'm sending mine back this week. Cant wait to get the hids back in as its like driving blind with halogen bulbs in again. hids - steviewevie - 07-04-2018 When you come to fit them, you'll find that if you plug them in "normally", they won't work. For some reason, the IS200 wiring seems to be the "wrong" way round. So when it comes to plugging the connector from the car into the ballast, plug it in upside-down, and that should fix it. You may have to trim the connector if there is a tab preventing this, or you might just be able to force it. Don't worry though, if you plug it in and it doesn't work, you won't break anything, it's just that the HIDs don't work. hids - John G - 07-04-2018 kam05 You want this kit: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Xenon-HID-Conversion-KIT-H1-H3-H7-H9-H11-HB3-HB4-9006-/330379335700?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cec249814 Mega thumbs up to this seller, ballasts are tiny and a great kit hids - dodgydave - 07-04-2018 reganlives I got my HIDs from diane-shop as well and think they're great although one of my ballasts has failed but they come with an 18month warranty and when I got in touch with them about the failed ballast they told me to send both back and will replace both of them so I get 2 new ballasts now. I had 1 ballast burn out after just over a year. I couldn't be arsed to send the ballasts back and just ordered 1 new ballast from them. I think it was about 15quid delivered. hids - spikes - 07-04-2018 bought mine off ebay, but an english seller. had no probs with them. used 6000k.dont go too blue or you stand more chance of being pulled by the law hids - garyskisplym - 08-04-2018 steviewevie When you come to fit them, you'll find that if you plug them in "normally", they won't work. This is a common fault on jap cars mate. A mate of mine had the proplem on his swift gti. What grade would people say best between colour and brightness?? |
