You really need to get the code read. Can you get someone to plug in an OBD-II reader ? Then if you get the code, we can see what the problem might be.
It sounds odd that the aircon seems to be linked with the light coming on. Could just be a coincidence. Or maybe a voltage drop caused by the aircon causing another glitch ?
Get the code (will be something like Pxxxx) where xxxxx is four digits, and we can go from there

nope running fine. apart from when the steering is turned revs go up
