I use Toyota for most parts. Opie for oils. I won't touch blueprint stuff after having a thermostat that never opened and a distributor cap that lasted 2000 miles, so that counts Camskill out.

Hi there,

Just been through the same myself. Local Lexus/Toyota dealership were competative on part prices, euro car parts very cheap but not sure of the quality.

Oil I got Mobil 3000 FE (from memory) 5 30 fully syth from Halfords as it was on sale at £29 for 5 litres, not 4 which is better.

If you need to mail order there is a lexus dealer that does mail order, google lexus parts and you will clearly see it.

Read an interesting report on oil filter quality, some are good, some very bad and of course you cannot tell from the outside so in general stick with the genuine parts.

Blueprint I have to say are naff too in my experience. Had a thermostat that simply didn't work properly and turned out to be more expensive than the genuine article.

Hope this helps.
