Ok I have tried the double sided sticky tape from Halfords to stick on my number plate , but they dont work so good.
so dose anyone know of something better to use , and I'm not going to screw them on !!

Halfords have usually got 2 kinds, the ones on the shelf which are sh*t and the ones they keep behind the parts counter.
I lost a numberplate due to the crappy ones on the shelf, I told the guy behind the counter that and he gave me the better ones for free!

Well the ones I got were the 1mm ones and the 6mm ones are just to thick .

Not used it on license plates but I've always found the double sided foam tape from B&Q quite strong!

I'm not sure the difference between the two was thickness, I think they were a different make altogether.
Of course you still need to make sure you've cleaned both surfaces with meths/alcohol to get as good a stick as possible.

Velcro works very well mate i had velcro on mine for a few years now and never had any issue's

No it was just a 1mm thick stuff that came in a pack of 6 pre cut pieces

Yep just looked on halfords and the cut strips don't have great reviews whereas this one does so hopefully it does the job
