Either that or you cut the inside of the fuel cap n that off and move it back but it seems like all the answers mean big work
Could just try and sand the edges of the cap so there not as square if that works

You cannot leave it sticking out like belisha beacon Stav , i know its a nice bit of carbon , but it still sticks out and looks like its open a bit .
