Right this afternoon I had one mission, get the engine back in! But will the manifold fit.....

Unfortunately its still not in perfect. I have 3 options
1- get Hurricane to remake the adapter a cm shorter as I still have the cad drawing Sprinter made for me, will cost materials and Petes time, and I need a fast turn around (2 weeks ish)
2- get the manifold shortened or angled more, will cost for the alloy to be welded and again I need a quick turnaround
3- take the engine back out and take a bigger hammer to the car whilst ensuring the top suspension arm still moves freely.
I think I'll try option 3 lol then respray that part.

That's a ****** about the manifold! I was going to suggest just getting the adapter machined down, but that would probably put the inlet ports out of line because the slots are angled.

Ay that was my thought as well. Will see if the hammer works out.

i like the hammer idea mate you could probably fly that bit of paint in without to much effort especially where its positioned you could probably do it with the engine in situe as well (if you make enough of a dent lol)
