My IS300 story so far.... - jimxms - 20-05-2019 Stoney If ya fancy giving it a go, either changing tops or patching the hole, the whole rad is yours for postage cost, sub £10 I'd imagine. Cheers dude that's very kind of ya. I'll see how I get on with threading a barb onto the broken bit and if that fails I'll definitely be PM'ing ya. My IS300 story so far.... - jimxms - 24-05-2019 Hoooorar, the last piece of the puzzle has arrived... ![]() My EV1-to-Denso injector adapters! My IS300 story so far.... - jimxms - 24-05-2019 Dark Samurai See you on thursday Keeping my fingers crossed for a clear afternoon :thumbup1::thumbup1: My IS300 story so far.... - Dark Samurai - 24-05-2019 Me also mate, shouldn't be too bad now we've had the inlet/throttle body off a couple times now, plug your ECU in, and away she goes. My IS300 story so far.... - jimxms - 24-05-2019 Dark Samurai Me also mate, shouldn't be too bad now we've had the inlet/throttle body off a couple times now, plug your ECU in, and away she goes. Almost a fine art now ![]() This time when we pull all the TB off though I'm gonna give it a good old clean out with some TB cleaner while I've got the opportunity. I've also got some ever-so-slightly larger o-rings on order as I noticed the OEM ones are minutely thicker. Fingers crossed they come before thurs...but I dont think it will be a big deal if they dont. My IS300 story so far.... - Dark Samurai - 24-05-2019 Ok matey it'll all be off anyways! My IS300 story so far.... - Anees - 29-05-2019 Just been catching up on Jims car! Awesome machine! ![]() Can't wait to see the finalised and mapped supercharger results! Because the kit you bought was from the US and so designed for a LHD car; did you have any fitment issues when installing in your UK RHD car? My IS300 story so far.... - jimxms - 29-05-2019 Cheers mate ![]() I had a few fitting issues. For starters the USA IS300's have deeper bumpers so they have more room in front of the radiator for an intercooler (I had to hack mine quite a bit). Also they don't have headlight washers, so I had to ditch those and also run a smaller washer fluid tank. There was a few other small bits too, like bolts in the wrong place, but nothing massive that completely halted the install. My IS300 story so far.... - jimxms - 29-05-2019 Put together a quick video today. My editing skills are pretty poor and Windows Movie Maker doesn't help...but meh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnmaPumlSMk&feature=youtube_gdata Also I had a quick shot at a 0-60 on the Scangauge. Unfortunately it would seem I came off a little too early as it only registered up to 57, but I kinda needed to stop for a T junction ![]()
