john wan Can you not take a is200 gearbox an just buy a new bell housing for it?
Well mate, IS200 gearbox has very short gears!!! I will never enjoy the power and acceleration of the 2J. In the current setup I have and I am not enjoying the gearbox. 3 first gears are useless for over 270hp

dimis Hi this is the setup I am following. I have purchased a 2JZGTE from an Aristo V300 and I will be using an R154 gearbox from a Supra MKIII. Currently I am in the search for the geatbox. I have located a couple and I am waiting for the shipping charges quotation.Give Jurgen a try for another price comparison,

Ok I managed to detect an R154 gearbox with an OEM 1JZ bellhousing. So now we are having progress. I will take quite a few videos and pics during the swap!
