ormi whats up mate?think most of us knew that pm's werent private as how else would they find out say a non member was selling stuff through pm's etc?tbh it doesnt bother me who reads my pms as im not up to anything dodgy if you know what i mean...

No it's not correct. Admin has the right to do so, and the responsibility to do so if there is a possibility a rule has been broken in order to find out exactly what's gone on.

On some forums mods have the permissions to do this as well, but on this one it's just admin.

Check the forum t&c, it'll be in there somewhere...

Forget your T&C'S, we are talking about the real world here,what exists in cyber space and what ends up in the real world,in a court of law, are two very different things.

i was only trying to help i dont know whats been looked at or whats been said and im not interested in the slightest and never once said you were wrong in anyway so whats all this hangers on pi5h??
have you ever thought that the other person who got the pm didnt report it?if they did then admin/who evers in charge have the right to view the message its in the t&c..

and regardless of your site T&C's my lawyer will fight every inch to prove that my privacy (under ECHR) has been breached.
