What is the service schedule like for an rx7? Ive heard that theres a lot of work for rotaries, but i was just wondering how many miles it is between engine work?

I rang a rotary specialist who rebuild the engine in mine and he said to be safe you need an oil and filter change after 5000 miles. I don't think I'll do 5000 Miles a year in mine so will probably do mine every 12 months. He did also say that some people do an oil and filter change every 3000 Miles. I'm fortunate enough to use mine as a weekend car so won't do to many miles in it.

Yeah I know what you mean. You do need to keep a close eye on them but if you maintain them properly it won't let you down. Unfortunately some of them are badly tuned which normally ends in a horror story. Fingers crossed mine is ok.
