Its pretty easy mate, the gear surround just pulls up, and you can feed the wires under the edge of the centre console from the monitors, and push them up to where you want them to go its a bit tight but can be done :thumbup1:

ha! yea im in the car around and popped up the gear surround just there. got 2 plugs, 1 with a pink wire and a black and white wire. the other plug looks like its for illumination. pink for positive?

yes mate sure its the pink wire for +, don't cut the black or you could start the timer and everything will blow up

even tried my rear view camera and it works perfect just need to buy a splitter so i can connect the other monitor as my dvd player has only one output video cable. yaay! cheers matey!

thanks mate! tbh im having the car looked at on saturday, with it being looked at already on monday there. They pressure tested it and came back and told me that my head gasket is gone
getting a second opinion on saturday. I dont have any oily/watery gunk under my oil cap. Only symtoms i can see are my temp gauge goin up, my fan not kicking in (unless i put the air con on) and my oil pressure light comes on(only comes on when i start the car from cold, when the temp reaches normal it disappears)

Have you ran an OBD test on it mate, to see if there are any faults being logged on the ecu? When was it last serviced mate?
