Probably is an ebay special. All i could see when i had a quick peek was that it was a machined ally shaft and the main housing was anodised blue

Yours is a gt mate, ours was a g limited, what rev engine is yours, and is yours import or english?

MR2 GTi-16 - Fozzy - 25-02-2018

Its definately a GT. Its a '95 so its a Rev 3 engine. As far as i know its a uk model. It has no aircon

MR2 GTi-16 - FirebirdPhil - 25-02-2018

I think all GT's are UK?

MR2 GTi-16 - Dark Samurai - 25-02-2018

Ours was a g-limited, silver with a black roof, air con, folding mirrors, from japan as the speedo had been converted, and before it said km/h and then when we got it it said m/h and you could see a sticker had been stuck over the k lol

Toxo, does the rev 3+ have a different steering column to the rev 1/2? Im looking for a steering wheel boss. I just bagged a bargain on ebay, a brand new momo millenium steering wheel, rrp £190, for £50.

Heres one fitted to a mates tubby

Thats nice mate, i expect the dash is a tiny bit longer for the turbo gauge? as ours was n/a

MR2 GTi-16 - Fozzy - 25-02-2018

No the dashboard is the same. On the n/a models we get a battery gauge, on the turbos this was the boost gauge

Boss is the same for all models. Make sure you get a proper one though, cheap ones don't fit the steering position sensor and the power steering goes up the creek.

GT exists in Japan and is the turbo model with all the extras. G-limited is Japan n/a spec (usually auto) and lowest Japan spec is just G. UK got GTi16 and GT IIRC.
