Ace Cafe pics - really delayed! - E55EX_RACER - 21-03-2018 is300_dino they were removing the supercharger and all went smoothly i think (didnt hear any shouting or too much cursing anyway) Was it a big job? Ace Cafe pics - really delayed! - is300_dino - 21-03-2018 not huge took them a few hours in between messing about lol Ace Cafe pics - really delayed! - steviewevie - 22-03-2018 E55EX_RACER I like the fact some of you took your trolley jack, stands and tools and work on the motors while you're there. What would you do if it went tits up and you sheared a bolt for example? :Fish: Cry ? I guess in the worst case you could get the RAC/AA/whoever to take you home. As Dino said though, they weren't really complex jobs. Ace Cafe pics - really delayed! - toxo - 22-03-2018 lol my trolley jack and socket set goes everywhere with me, part and parcel of owning an old car! If we sheared a bolt we'd just put it back together with zip ties! As it happens Ed did round off 2 screws on the throttlebody but that was no big deal, he just left that part on in order to drill the screws out when he got home. Oh yeah and I semi rounded a nut on the water pump pulley but that was fixed by stopping using my 35yr old 12 sided socket set and switching to a Halfords Pro 6 sided set instead
