MarsdendeanIs that to do with the wankle engine then? Do any other mazda's use the wankle engine? I like the MPS mazda 5's estate things but they are FWD
I think it's just an emissions things, not really specific to the rotary engine. Just that it would take a lot of work to make it comply, and Mazda don't think it's worth it. I believe they are working on an RX-8 replacement, but it's not due for a few years
