it woudlnt surprise me if 4G tech isnt on it ;-)

which could be utilised once networks upgrade their own tech

or they could of saved it to be a money spinner with an actual 4G phone later in the year

New Iphone 4G - Dan_Turism0 - 30-04-2018

anyone know if you can put your own ring tones/alerts on this one as opposed to having to purchase them through itunes like previous iphones?

New Iphone 4G - Carpediem - 30-04-2018

probably have to pay to avoid copyright infringement

New Iphone 4G - SHAHZ - 30-04-2018

you can put your own on the 3gs mate, just need to create the file but it only takes a couple of minutes

New Iphone 4G - Dan_Turism0 - 30-04-2018

but that only applies for ring tones doesn't it? ie. you can't use custom text alerts? Carpediem i don't think apple have done it for that reason more for the reason of it's another way of getting money from users

I'm no Apple fan, but was expecting a little more innovation than that personally, especially given that most will probably be paying around £700 over the term of a contract as before.......

What does this bring over the Nexus One that came out ages ago other than a sexy body and a marginally higher screen resolution? Even the OS still looks the same, and no additions that aren't things that shouldn't have been there in the first place (multitasking and voice recognition, lol). They really should have done something to move things along, as Android is catching them and Windows Phone7 looks really hot!
