I'd use 10w40; on an IS200 with 100k+ miles personally IMO 5w40 is a bit too thin and like you mentioned it could be seeping through the seals. Smoking on cold start up - ormi - 10-08-2018 mate thats normal grey/black smoke means its running rich ie cold start....... the reason its nothing to do with oil seapage is the smoke isnt blue....... if the smokes blue thats burning oil..... so my advice dont panic and forget about it.....also you would notice you would be loosing oil......:thumbup1: |
