Sorry but I wouldn't be giving them top marks, infact I would get the damage repaired and never go near tgem again. Garages think they can damage customers cars and get away with it, that's not fair or right.

Fair enough, on one hand I agree and on the other I feel that these things happen and as long as they sort it out with minimal fuss then I'm happy - much rather that than them giving me trouble saying they won't fix it.
Bad news unfortunately though, went in today for them to have a go at polishing it out and it didn't work - so they've booked it in to the bodyshop for a few weeks time to use a proper mop to take it out.
Most likely it'll need a respray is the final conclusion but either way if it's hassle free I'm happy
