Looks amazing mate. Glad you seem to be enjoying yourself. Sometime I wonder why we all stay in the UK!?!
2tongues Next on the list to visit is The Grand Canyon apparently its big??, Tombstone - the town to tough to die  and Sedona, the breathtaking natural beauty is world renowned.
The Grand Canyon is big Phil, in fact it is EPIC, a word which over used these days, but it truly is. Photos don't capture the scale of it. Get over it in a helicopter if you can, the best way to see it. Sedona is very beautiful and Tombstone is like a Western Movie set, IIRC, very fake, very touristy, and very American - that said, it's still well worth a visit.

Still to hot here though, the August temp hasn't been below 100 for 24 days, during the daylight hours and 89 at night.

Phil I did the Grand Canyon from Vegas and enjoy the hoover dam and the history behind the making.
We flew the the Canyon by plane went down in the Canyon by helicopter and once at the bottom we went on a boat..
The thing i remember so much is the water line it must of dropped 30 + feet which is pretty worrying...
