i would have a go at looking into it but im in work and lets just say MOD computers dont like things that are not related to work and its all networked

Its a very good idea , could we not get a google street view of everyones place .

Why stop there? We could get live tracking of any member that use phones with 'my location' functions like iPhone, blackberry etc. Then we can get reeaaaally stalkerish
But on a serious note, that does sound like a great idea. Especially as people are always looking for a helping hand with installations of various things, would certainly help to know whos near by.
