2. Convert it to a manual!!
Thanks to Mikey Bean, this car only had 3 days total as an automatic in my posession. He's a star!

3. Laugh insanely at the most bodged exhaust system I've ever seen, and REPLACE it with a full Mongoose system.

I wasnt too impressed to see big round twin exits on the car because before I went to pick it up, it had quad exits on the photos. Still, the back boxes are in good nik and still looked quite nice (For sale!!).
One day, I'm driving along and the car starts sounding more like a scooby. Exhast putty had dislodged itself and got stuff in the system - That was the last straw!

Look at the state of this!

And yes...thanks to Mikey Bean again ...
Ahhh this is better...

Phil01 Why dont you call it "whiz" after whiz kalifa, black and yellow song.

We live at the end of a runway. We mostly see Boing 767's called 'WIZZ' flying all the Polish in (it's a Polish airline)... We make fun of that all the time.

You are being sarchastic right? :thumbup1:

4. Install chrome tax disc holder.
Well the road tax costs so blinkin much for the year it deserves to be made as safe and secure as possible. Typically with trying to do ANYTHING, even the simplest thing on this car turns out to be a lot of effing and blinding. So, after using a dentist drillbit to remove the on allen screw some joker at the factory screwed in too tight... one chrome tax disc holder in the window.

5. Double the amount of Jubillee clips to what they should be on the hard pipe kit.

6. Ripped out the entire contents of the car to place sound deadening.

7. Buy a decent head unit and reduce the bodged wiring behind the center console by 90%

8. Tear out said center console, remove the clock, fiberglass it to neaten up melted plastic, make the stereo facia surround fit, and fiberglass a 'z' on it. Sprayed in bright pearl yellow.

9. Discovered the front wheels were hanging on by 3 mostly mangled threads per bolt. Buy new hub centric spacers, proper length bolts and nuts. This had the car off the road for over a week.

10. Install holder and charger for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Now combined with the bluetooth and parrot built into the Kenwood head unit, I can use the phone, watch movies, have my navigation sound etc through the stereo.

My boot install.
This has been driving me pretty crazy being not the easiest of boots to work with.
Must be because I'm female, because I want everything.

I need to keep the car relatively practical so the rear seats have to stay in for 2 kids and a dog lol.

This is going to take a while!
  • I want to be able to fit targa tops in.
  • To keep and use the roller blind
  • I want to be able to access my rear lighting and wiring.
  • with 2 subs,
  • 2 big 6x9's
  • 2 big amps..
... oh and room for shopping / beer / car detailing supplies too.

I'm getting excited now. I'm no genius with wood work at all but .... The TARGAS ARE IN!!!

With the boot closed:

Loads of room for a very sexy fiberglassed ICE install underneath there I say

Hidey space for, erm, Stuff:

My little helper (Michael), after I had gone at it removing all the unnecessary plastic, and plastic lips from where the high false floor was.

Those lights are amazing haha, are you going to mount a disco ball on the roof to go with that? Maybe get Bootsy Collins to do the interior Tongue

Loving the paint work though, definitely a good colour on those cars.

The install has got a bit further now.
Just before laying the first bit of fibreglass to the sub box I did a short vid on a test fit. Sorry, no one there to video the action of how easy it is to take the targas in and out... next itme:
