Bandit LOL don't mind mate Big Grin The HS30 comes out next month by the look of it at jessops, but ranges from around £370 to £400+ and knowing Jessops it'll be the higher price range for a while?

The only real downside to the HS20 is the battery's it uses which are the AA type, the newer HS30 now uses a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery which is something i've always said would be better? But saying that with the 2900MAH rechargeable AA ones i use, i can get around 250 - 400 photos so not too bad?

Well the HS30 is well out if my price range then... HS20 sounds good to me in that case, 250 / 400 photos is plenty for me lol how long can you do video for do you think ???

I'm guessing it comes with rechargeable batteries or do I have to buy those too lol

I also know there going to try to sell me a memory card as I'm shocked they don't come with them for the price you pay...can I get them cheaper anywhere else ?

Terrible timing dude, I just sold my D5000 with bits for well within your price range Sad

Careful though - it gets addictive and expensive fast!

The video depends on your memory card mate, and which setting you use? you can do full HD in 16.9 format or 4.3 format on the hs20, and i always get my memory cards off ebay as there always cheaper, but try and get something like a class 8 or class 10 card? maybe one like this Fuji class 10 card click me?

or CLICK ME?

One of the reasons they don't come with a card i because the camera has memory built in (20MB iirc) not much but gets you started?

Batteries again i'd get off ebay? look for the highest MAH you can get? i use these CLICK ME :thumbup1:
