This is getting ridiculous now - turns out the guy I bought the seats from had his floorpan 'modified' to accommodate the runners for these seats by the company that built & fitted them. I'm not prepared to do that so I need to get a little welding done to the inner rail on both seats... I test fitted the driver's one and the seating position is really high, so I'm going to trim down the stands that the rails sit on to gain another cm or 2.

As it happens I only ever got around to fitting the driver's seat. I took it out again today and put the old one back in so that I can get the rails welded up... need to do the wiring too!

Dropped the seat rails off for welding last night, today in my lunchbreak went to Toyota to pick up caliper carriers, new master cylinder etc. Car repaid me by shredding the alternator belt. Sigh...
