Project is300 - Chris0121 - 02-12-2020 Cheers mate n yh I've gotta try and bend that back some how god knows how lol Project is300 - Chris0121 - 05-12-2020 Been told I'm allowed to so the coilovers will be ordered next week going for Meister r's as everyone says how amazing they are so cant wait just gotta wait til Tuesday night/Wednesday morning til I can order them though Project is300 - Chris0121 - 15-12-2020 Finally after my bank being annoying all week I've finally ordered my meister r coilovers can't wait to get them next week =) Project is300 - Chris0121 - 15-12-2020 Are coilovers hard to fit never fitted them before, i had a set on my kit car but never fitted or even looked at them just knew they were gaz lol Is it as simple as 3/4 bolts on the top and 2 on the bottom then the brake pipe holder or something like that? Project is300 - toxo - 15-12-2020 Yes but things won't line up the same on new suspension so you will need an alignment afterwards, and it will need to settle for a week or two before you do. I would have thought ARB droplinks will be your biggest pain. You'll also need to set the height and the damping levels. Easiest to set them to a base level before you put the struts on the car and then just do fine adjustment once they're on. Set it a few levels harder at the front than the rear and go from there. Project is300 - mattlaw - 15-12-2020 The droplinks won't need removing on the front - so no problems there, the backs are dead easy Project is300 - el_bandido - 15-12-2020 fitting coilovers to the is200 is extremely easy. Did it with my dad in a matter of hours. Only reason it took so long is because I had a stubborn bit at the back. Project is300 - Chris0121 - 15-12-2020 Good to hear bandido your the reason I've brought the meisters as your reviews are the best I've heard so for you to say that makes me think thank god lol think either Saturday or Sunday ill fit them then =) see how long my splitter lasts ay haha Project is300 - Sparkystav - 15-12-2020 Yeah dead easy, just need a decent length breaker to push the rear arm down enough to get them out. Project is300 - Chris0121 - 15-12-2020 Got some big ass lengths of scaffold in the garage so hopefully they'll be something I can use there can't wait to fit them now then ill sort the arches =) |
