also remove the rubber from the back of the e/bay.
The reason is simple the IS200 has a "sealed" engine bay therefore is not designed for air to pass all the way through it and some turbo cars do run a fair bit hotter than N/A cars and require a good flow of air through the 'bay.

Seen that one a few times now, but Marcus has a nice big turbo on his V8 and i've never found another turbo v8 is200 as of yet :thumbup1:

hehe, yea i have seen that one but that one is downunder mate, there are 3 V8 IS200 in the UK that i know of and my one is 1 of them, theres one on driftworks site that being used for drifting, and theres 1 up by birmingham but them 2 IS,s have the VVTI V8 and they are not turbo,ed where as my one is , so there for my one is the only 1UZ Turbo IS in the UK

i dont know if i posted this befor about my kickdown cable, ill tell you any way, when i 1st fitted the V8 it was going to be 5 speed but to save some time and £££ i went with the auto for now, but in doing so i have had to use the car with out the kick/down cable (but no more) as i got one from a guy in the US, and got it last week, as my car is of the road waiting for a new water pump (just been told it will be here friday
) it was a good time to fit the kickdown cable so i have been under the car most of the day, trying to fit it "what a pig of a job that is when the gearbox is still in the car" well its all done, roll on the weekend and she should be back on the road

Thats what James at Toyota GT wanted to do to mine, I think the gauges are unique to the IS, wouldn't want to change them.
