2tongues £35 a year.

That's all? For anti-virus software and free support? Wow that is good value for money........

Which is why I go back every year.

imo, I've been using Avira Free for a while now and it's amazing one of the best anti-virus' on the market today (including paid software such as norton, mcaffee etc), aswell as malware-bytes. Then I run scans of Hijack this from time to time to check for anything hidden Wink

dare i say i dont have any virus issues on my mac!

incidentally, google chrome browser avgfree and spybot does my desktop fine..

Better than AVG?

Web browser problems - Dan_Turism0 - 30-10-2017

yep, better virus protection, faster scans aswell mate Smile

I don't rate AVG, it slows the PC down to much.

I reinstalled XP and all is fine again, thank goodness. I've been using AVG Free but have been getting a bit fed up with it being slow, so I'm going to give Avira Free a go this time.

Web browser problems - Dan_Turism0 - 02-11-2017

a wise move Steve, Avira uses a lot less process than AVG and the updates are lightning fast same as the scan times Smile

Is it providing as effective protection still? Haven't actually had a problem of my machine running slow, but might swap over to Avira if it's better Smile
