but thats not exactly difficult and you certainly wouldnt need to take control of anybodys iphone to do it..
its VERY easy..
just add:
apt.macosmovil.com
iphone.org.hk/apt/
cydia.iphoneil.net/
to the cydia sources (manage, sources, on the cydia app)
and search on cydia for appsync para 0S 3.1
before syncing with itunes and its done.

errr..
search for them in cydia, download through torrents or ask a friend for the file..
then just drag the ipa file into itunes.
it really is that simple..
im not sure what way you are doing it but this works on the new baseband..

ok guys i have just jail broke the iphone :thumbup1:
how ever if i turn it off it then goes into recovery mode and must be connected to a pc and run Blackra1n to use the phone this really is no good for me as i do alot of flying around and go to places where the phone has to be off i dont carry a pc with me all the time .....

yeah thats what i think i will do i was hoping this jailbrake would be the way forward but to be honest its a shame that you cant reboot, it appears the Geohot isnt releasing the update untill the crack for the ipad has been done

im guessing fromwhat i see that to un jailbrake i have to re install the firmware no biggy but my question is
the current backups of all my contcats messages etc that itunes downloads will these be able to be restored to a fresh iphone with new firmware
well more important will i loose my paid for programs?
