I had the same camera that year that I've had for a while, but it's been on its way out for ages !
Just got a Canon Powershot SX120IS, and I love it ! The Ace Cafe and WIM pics that I took were using that one. It doesn't meet Saraj's criteria though, it doesn't do HD video (which doesn't bother me).

Im really looking forward to this holiday in October, not been on holiday for 7 years in July, and not seen my wifes family for that long.
The best spec possible for the budget would be ideal, to capture thos moments and share them, wide angle is perfect for the landscape vews of the Mangla Dam ! HD video for the walks in the forests, cant wait !!!
