Marsdendean As people mentioned Oli, most of us thought it was rubbish that Jamies car managed to drag a load of way throu the intercooler and manage to get it into the engine!

I had a quote for Stav's first conversion of a rough price of £8k too £10K just to give you a rough idea, but did have about a 2 hour chat with steve and is a top bloke

in that 8-10k price range what power figures did you have in mind??

I know Dean, that's why I am saying I think he had a bad map... not water in the engine.

for that you'd get the same as my original conversion so around 300bhp but a good base engine to keep going to whereever your pockets allow.

It won't have been a bad map as it was IKEs map - so I think they may have turned the wick up a little too much. IIRC he was running about 360Bhp on standard internal so maybe just a little too much boost.

The car in question that bent the rod was due to water damage however othe changes had been made to the car including custom head work by the owner.
