Yeah done them before on a ford was a pain but still think its rings or a piston as it smoked like made with revs and was pushing oil out of the breather on top of the engine

Nah gathered with all the symptoms it was that cant be arsed stripping everything kinda loosing heart with it all now

Fight through it mate. I've been there as well. But once it's running again it all goes away

i know how you feel, i get constant abuse about my car dying to get it done so i can destroy them with their "amazing" BMWs. Cars bein a massive pain is all part of the game! Did you use your actual head when mocking up the manifold? or was it a spare

I know what weight is the is engine do you know? I can borrow one of my bruvs dissable hoists but they max out at 200kg
