Anyway
back on topic...Got the car back from the bodyshop last thing on Friday (thanks to Dan for the lift) and they have done an awesome job... I reckon my car is now all 1 colour for the first time since I've owned it. The guy even touched in some other damage to the door for me while I was there, which wasn't a panel I had asked him to look at
Decent price and relatively local to me as well, the car will definitely be going back there if it needs any more work! I got the driver's door back together, took the crossover out of the passenger door and repaired it as the components that side were not working. Turned out a coil had worked loose and broken its solder joint so it was a 5 minute fix.
I will take some photos after work, equivalent to the ones on page 30 so I can do a before/after.
Oh yeah I got the seats in too!!

I expect so, at least for a little bit longer.
To be honest though that's only partially due to falling back in love with it and more to do with not finding anything better to replace it with that was within my budget.
That said I had a go with the supercharged S2000 through MK again Saturday morning :w00t:

Supercharging one to get the gains that I would want out of it is out of my budget at this time. Plus it would have to be the right spec level, right colour etc. Same with any car though, I'll only buy it if it's the perfect one for me. Until something better comes along (or until it breaks again) that's the MR2.

- Gearbox bellhousing repair DONE

- Fidanza flywheel fitted with ARP bolts DONE
- Goodridge braided clutch line DONE

- Electric mirror control repair DONE, New controller fitted
- Fit new brake master cylinder DONE
- Modify new seats with Waeco heater elements DONE
- New Alternator belt DONE, tightened

- Fit Walbro fuel pump
- Alarm boot release Broken rear lock removed, pull release connected up in a much more sensible way than Toyota's & solenoid added, just needs cabling to the new fusebox
- Side strip mounts repaired
- Front Foglights reinstalled
- Front bumper repair (fibreglass) DONE
- Reversing camera reinstalled
- Engine bay cleanup (powder coated rocker cover + inlet manifold + chargecooler, hoses colour coordinated, some new gaskets & clean up oil leak)
- Diagnose chargecooler leak DONE
- Painted and stickered calipers
- Fit new rear brake sliders & pins
- Properly fix brake hoses to mounting points on car
- Fit new seats, including figuring out how to mount the seatbelt clips DONE
- Fit wiring loom + switches etc for new seats DONE
- 2 new front tyres + wheel alignment DONE
- New aircon belt Bought, haven't fitted yet
- New driveshafts and ATS CV joints DONE
- Relocate chargecooler pump to aleviate ground clearance problems DONE
- Convert to ST205 ECU
- PDR to boot lid and bonnet (paintless dent removal)
- Conversion to heated retracting wingmirrors
- Replace crossthreaded stud in front wheel spacer
- New wheel nuts (thinking RAYS gunmetal ones)
