Hi guys,
well i had abit of time tonight to look over the work i had done, have fixed the water/pump last week, and the oil leak on the sump & the oil return from the turbo, all of them seem ok now.
so i start looking over the turbo and the only thing i did to it about 10 days ago was make the oil inlet bigger as the hole was only about 2mm, and i made it 4 or5mm thinking it needed it, but i had not taken the car out to test it as the water pump was being fixed at the time,
any way it turns out me makeing the oil inlet hole bigger was bad!! as then there was to much oil being pumped into the turbo, and the turbo was filling up with way to much oil and with that theres 2 thing it will do under boost, (1) smoke comeing of boost (2) oil will work its way through the seals, (and thats what it did) it smoked when i stoped rev,ing and oil has also worked its way through the inlet seal,
Well i have now put a plate under the oil feed connecter and drilled a hole in it 2mm like it was before, and all seem to be working ok, took the car out for 10min when i had done it, and she flys
i also reved her up to see and theres no smoke and no oil in the inlet.....tuch wood happy days are here lol
