My Subaru WRX - Dan_Turism0 - 27-11-2017 good to hear mate, i'm seriously thinking about chopping the lex in for a scooby My Subaru WRX - russelllinn - 27-11-2017 2tongues The Lexus. They fit wit some cutting, bending and welding.......................... nice one I expect it does sound nice on it, would like to hear it, will have to try mine out tomorrow and see how it fares against the one I got at the moment :thumbup1:Dan_Turism0 good to hear mate, i'm seriously thinking about chopping the lex in for a scooby its worth considering as a change as they're a fun car for sure, you'll have to test drive one and see how you get on. If you commute a long way etc something to factor in as they not really designed for that IMO, but fun fun fun  My Subaru WRX - Dan_Turism0 - 27-11-2017 well I commute about 4miles to work round trip each day during the week but weekends I drive 2 hours to my gf's but hopeing to move down to hers as soon as job allows
My Subaru WRX - russelllinn - 27-11-2017 Dan_Turism0 well I commute about 4miles to work round trip each day during the week but weekends I drive 2 hours to my gf's but hopeing to move down to hers as soon as job allows Sounds like a good possibily then matey, take one out on a test drive, that'll make your mind up
My Subaru WRX - Dan_Turism0 - 27-11-2017 true, just undecided on the shape GDB is nice same as the hawkeye can't decide between the two though, would love the 08 hatch but my pockets aren't quite that deep haha
My Subaru WRX - russelllinn - 27-11-2017 Dan_Turism0 true, just undecided on the shape Hawkeye is a nice shape, would have gone for that prob but didn't want to get a loan, I expect with that shape onwards they become a bit more comfortable too. Like the hatch but would have to be the STI, that is deep pocket territory  My Subaru WRX - FirebirdPhil - 27-11-2017 Their all deep pocket territory when you look at running costs. My Subaru WRX - russelllinn - 27-11-2017 You're not wrong there Phil, I guess that's why you gotta love them to run them
My Subaru WRX - Andy-R. - 27-11-2017 Stick with the de-cat mate my uncles go one on his and it makes a difference much smoother power delivery, he has had a couple of MOT issues sometimes it'd pass others fail but if RedX and a good blast doesn't sort it out then just get a standard cat throw it on for the MOT and then take it back off that's what he does:wink: i'd love a scooby myself but would miss the comfort of the Lex as I found out when I had my uncles for a few days, also it'd cost me too much and with work being rubbish at the mo there's no chance plus if I had the kids in the back i'd still find it hard to hold back so i'll stick with the barge for now. My Subaru WRX - russelllinn - 27-11-2017 Thanks for your input andy-r good to hear from personal experiences, i think I will stick with it now or a free flowing sports cat but like the idea of the smoother power delivery and my local garage is pretty good when it comes to MOt's so would put the cat on and off for me I know what you mean with holding back you have to remember the little ones in the back at times, although we tend to just use the Lex as the family car anyhow, Mrs gets a headache over long distances  |
