I read that officially the 3GS will not multitask when upgraded to iOS4 normally, it must be because it's all hacked that it works. iPhone or iPod touch apps - Carpediem - 14-05-2018 Voucher cloud - awesome app Sickipedia - always a good read Paypal - for when the shop is just being so annoying iCamcorder - (3g only) - 15 second film clips ATM Hunter - never far away 1337pwn - xbox app - see what friends are online save booting the box up a2z pro conversions - use this alot for some reason Coin Dozer - simple yet addictive Puzzling Penguins - quality game Traffic info - helps sometimes - highways agency direct link TV Catchup - only found this yesterday!!! iPhone or iPod touch apps - parthiban - 14-05-2018 Carpediem F1 2010 app - i only use this cus it tells you when the race is local time and our time so the asian/american races are easy to remember to watch/record There's a BBC calendar you can download off the website that puts all the races into your calendar including their local times  iPhone or iPod touch apps - Carpediem - 14-05-2018 calendar on outlook or iphone?? apps jsut as easy, especially if i miss qaulifying i can see the grid line up and if im out and about and cant watcht he race (and forget to record it) the app gives you live timing and text commentary iPhone or iPod touch apps - parthiban - 14-05-2018 Carpediem calendar on outlook or iphone?? Should port into any calendar, it dropped into my google calendar but should work on anything shouldn't it? But fair enough, the apps probably useful too then
iPhone or iPod touch apps - Carpediem - 14-05-2018 Not sure, will give it a go thats the only downside to the app is i have to check to see when a race is, whereas my calendar i check regularly my phone probably doesnt do half the stuff it can do, ive had it over a year and only figured could stream TV yesterday  iPhone or iPod touch apps - parthiban - 14-05-2018 Yeah I find it great for that, it says it works on outlook, google or ical so you should be fine http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8562692.stm iPhone or iPod touch apps - Carpediem - 14-05-2018 sweet will do it for works calendar but probs leave the phone for now, should be upgrading next week to an iphone 4
iPhone or iPod touch apps - parthiban - 14-05-2018 Carpediem should be upgrading next week to an iphone 4 Cool let us know how you get on with that, reviews are saying it's slick but not really a game changer like the original was. I much prefer the hardware of the new one though, the straighter edges look fantastic. Also really like the retina display, the actual resolution is only marginally higher than the one on my desire, but the key fact is that it's still an LCD rather than OLED which makes it much more visible in sunlight. Ok Super AMOLED is going to fix that too which will make this screen obsolete very fast, but for now it's great  Is it also true that there aren't really many widgets for the iPhone though? I switch on my desire and on my main screen I've got the weather, my upcoming events, exchange rates and on other screens I have latest news and other bits and bobs all without needing to open any app - would annoy me to hell if I had to keep opening different apps to get this relatively basic information......... iPhone or iPod touch apps - Carpediem - 14-05-2018 Yeah the key things drawing me to the new iphone are 1) the upgrades only costing me £36 2) Almost HD screen 3) 5mp camera / HD video Recording 4) new style 5) mines a 3G 8gb, need something newer lol 6) multitasking 7) folders and a bit more Erm no widgets that im aware of, i think its something Apple arent really into, i mean you have push notifications, so if i get an email it will highlight it with a small text bubble and stuff, but its nothing that im missing i imagine the time it takes to flick between screens as opposed the time it takes to open an app is not alot?? i dunno lol |
