New car - toxo - 24-01-2019 parthiban Mercs are the only cars I've come across with push pedal on, pull lever off. I actually prefer this as I've always found the push pedal off quite a clumsy manouvre for a luxury car. LS400 is push pedal on, pull lever off :thumbup1: New car - parthiban - 24-01-2019 toxo LS400 is push pedal on, pull lever off :thumbup1: How weird is it they did that for a while and then changed it? Maybe it was confusing americans, as american cars generally have the push on push off system  New car - kam05 - 25-01-2019 On the auto Mercs I think the parking brake works ok, I test drove a manual C220CDI- its a bit tricky trying to do a hill start in that as there is no hand brake lever (even though there is a system called hill assist?) on the manual mercs. And besides if you have a Merc its got to be an auto
New car - parthiban - 25-01-2019 Technically it should be the same, find bite and then pull release lever but I've heard it's a bit of a faff. True, buying a manual merc is a good way of losing an extra 10% at least in value  New car - SHAHZ - 26-01-2019 Lovely motor Kam:thumbup1: |
