I don't have time to split it, I work 150 miles from where I live 4 days a week; I don't think the hotel would appreciate a Lexus being dismantled in their car park.

It heavily depends on what the insurance company want to do.

Gutted for you mate!

IS300 project - is200turbo - 09-10-2022

Gutted mate are you looking for a new 300 now or going a different route?

Very sorry to hear mate.

IS300 project - el_bandido - 09-10-2022

I don't know what will be next. I've just had to cancel an order for some bits I bought from the states for the 300; right now I've completely lost enthusiasm for anything car related.

IS300 project - Rabster - 09-10-2022

You got any pics of the damage mate ?

Have you notified insurance now etc

IS300 project - el_bandido - 09-10-2022

The car is gone, it's with the insurance company at the moment. They have said it's probably a write off but they have to review the assessment the garage gave. 99.9999999% certain that it's gone for good, as the garage said write off.

What doesn't kill us only hurts allot. Smile

Don't let 1 ID10T ruin your enjoyment of all things motoring.

That really ******* sucks mate. Heartsick for ya. Hope you get yourself back in something fun soon!

No CCTV from the hotel that covers the car park? Bit **** that - could have pursued for damages directly (and of course had yourself a little vengeance on the evil twazzock who ruined your car)

IS300 project - el_bandido - 11-10-2022

Yeah, if any shred of evidence turns up I'll be on it like a bloodhound. It's official, car is a write off.

No idea what will come next, as I've not settled with the insurance company yet. I've lost all of my no claims and now have an accident on record, so I think that is going to severely limit my choices.
