Snow ! - ormi - 06-11-2017 well wife got up this mornin 430am (she's heading up a wide load, huge generator)hear'd the i'm just sitting here wheel spinnig noise so went out try'd to get the car to move no joy SNOWED IN!!!!so she phoned the work 15 mins later the arv landcruiser picked her up. not even going to attempt moving the lex!! Snow ! - Lexusboy - 06-11-2017 Really struggled to get the car off the drive this morning, lucky it a hire car while the wife car get fixed after the two blown out tyres. The hire car is a small corsa and other than struggling to get it off the drive it was fine. I guess had i not had that i would of been at home today as my car would never of made it off the driveway. Drive safe and leave loads of space between you and the car in front and allow loads of room to stop when coming to juctions in case of ice.:thumbup1: Snow ! - kam05 - 06-11-2017 I'm not even going to attempt to drive my IS200 in the snow- I'm working from home today. Snow ! - toxo - 06-11-2017 End of my road has frozen and there's a T junction there which is covered in POLICE - SLOW signs. Are people really so stupid they need to be told to drive slowly when there's snow on the ground?! :Chair: Snow ! - parthiban - 06-11-2017 toxo Are people really so stupid they need to be told to drive slowly when there's snow on the ground?! :Chair: Yep, I got stuck on my way home yesterday because of what looked like a stupid but reasonably bad crash - and it hadn't even started snowing yet! Snow ! - Dan_Turism0 - 06-11-2017 ARGH :Chair: **** snow has completely screwed up my weekend now, can't drive down to my gf's as I can't get out of my close due to it being very steep and a T-Junction at the bottom. Me and gf were also meant to have a consultation in london which we now won't be able to get to neither will my gf be able to get to work tomorrow night as there is nobody to look after the little lad, all in all i'm in one stinking mood today  Lets hope it thaws out later and I can get off my estate however the forecast i've seen is more snow. Snow ! - toxo - 06-11-2017 Chill Winston! Just pull off in 3rd and you'll be fine! Nothing stopping you getting the train to London ![]() I am well impressed with otherDan getting here in his MR2, not sure I would have bothered. I gotta drive to Northampton at 5, should be fun! Snow ! - steviewevie - 06-11-2017 To all with RWD/front-engined cars, put some extra weight in your boot to help you with traction, e.g. a bag of sand, or whatever you can find !
