yh true, dont have a pc only laptop, so is possible by extending the montior

Cant you still connect another monitor to it. Or doesnt it have a DVI/VGA connection

yh my laptop has a HDMI output, and tv input, connect it up extend the monitor to two screens and use the tv side with media player and other for laptop, but too many wires and fiddiling around, much prefer the adaptor
