Project Corolla T-Sport - Carpediem - 05-04-2019 **** that needs lowering......nice though Project Corolla T-Sport - jimxms - 05-04-2019 Very nice matey :thumbup1: Keep up the tasteful mods you've been doing
Project Corolla T-Sport - jimxms - 06-04-2019 Marsdendean I thought my is was high !!! Problem with the corollas they come at 4 foot off the ground lol Toyota seem to have a bit of a fetish with high cars it seems. Compared to BMW for example. I was surprised to see a beemer the other day that had a stance similar to my car..only it was OEM. Project Corolla T-Sport - Phil01 - 06-04-2019 stuipidly high, you can actually get your head in the wheel arch and look around in there. Waiting for delivery of 40mm drop springs, sshould be today or tomorrow, fingers crossed. Project Corolla T-Sport - Dark Samurai - 06-04-2019 Another mod done today. Finally, the mod we've been waiting to do, is finally done: Sitting in the car as Dad had picked me up from school, and a big Parcelforce lorry turns up, I said "I wonder if that's the springs??" My dad replied "No way, only sent out this morning" They crossed the road with a big box, went to my door, I collected the parcel to find that this had arrived!: ![]() In the box was: ![]() Ok, this is the spring fitted, the gap is still large as the car was still jacked up at that point: ![]() This is the difference between OEM front spring and new front spring, new one being the red one: ![]() This, is the end product, still looks a bit high, but the car needs to settle on the springs for a week after the springs are fitted, so should drop a few more mm: ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope you enjoy! Project Corolla T-Sport - ormi - 06-04-2019 see what i mean about the drop mate....very low front high at the rear..the only springs i know of for the corolla that dont do that are tein springs...they drop the car so its level.. Project Corolla T-Sport - Dark Samurai - 06-04-2019 Yeah I know what you mean mate, still lower than it was so we're happy with it, just need a set of rims to fill the arches a bit more. Project Corolla T-Sport - ormi - 06-04-2019 nice set of 17's will look stunning mate...or even 18's but the ride suffers with 18's Project Corolla T-Sport - Anees - 07-04-2019 Marsdendean Looking good. My leon used to have that kind of "hunch" look with the front being slightly lower than the rear. Is it for weight or something as the rear will take more weight?? Front Axle has the weight of the engine to take.........
Project Corolla T-Sport - Phil01 - 07-04-2019 I would still be waiting for my drop springs from Leeds after a 4 week wait, I cancelled my order with them and ordered from another company and they was here in 24hrs.
