I have arranged to take the car to Toyota workshop to paint and install the new bumper. Also I will repaint the bonnet. They are quite a few chips on the bonnet from the stones the lorries tend to through on other cars. :cursing:. Hopefully tomorrow evening i will have pics of the new bumper fitted on the car. :wink:

Ok I am just back from Toyota. The paint shop painted the bonnet and it looks like new. They also painted the bumper and it looks fantastic. Tomorrow morning they are going to fit black goof quality grilles (the grilles supplied with the bumper were silver and not good quality) and then fit it on the car. They will also wax the car. Unfortunately today from enthusiasm i forgot to take some pics, but i will definetely take a few tomorrow. :thumbup:

Good news Dimis i am glad the painting went well and that the bumper must be good quality to fit as soetimes the replica ones aren't great as Asi found out!!

Rusellinn the bumper fits ok on the car. The only cons of this bumper and generally is that it is made of fiber glass, which means it requires a lot of paint coatings to look nice but unfortunately it gets brittle so it means it is very easily to crack. So i must be careful when i park and especially the cars in front of me who will unpark.
