The Galant - SHAHZ - 13-04-2018 Mesobitchy and for the auto, if your gonne get it, make sure its the vr4 then as that is a much much stronger box then the N/A ones! how will i tell the difference?? or is it obvious......written on the car:blushing: The Galant - Chri5 - 13-04-2018 shahz i dont know why my pix are all small??? i will see if i can find a few bigger 1s. as for room i had 4 adults 1 baby chair all luggage plus pushchair etc ok was tight but it all fitted  The Galant - SHAHZ - 13-04-2018 Chri5 shahz i dont know why my pix are all small??? cool guess i could try when i see one, if not until the two elder ones go onto a booster seat one of the baby seats can go in the front and whoevers not driving in the back The Galant - Chri5 - 13-04-2018 Mesobitchy purdy! why dont you buy 1 to **** about in??? i only paid £2200 for mine lol had it been mint then i probly wouldnt of done. i did manage to get the AYC lights up but that was in the snow being given a serious hammering lol (unfortunately not by me :Sulk: i only managed 2 lights) how did they manage to do the roundabout at all??? i seriously could not get mine to break traction long enough servicing can be costly at 4500miles between services. but if you go on some forums they go on about the most expensive oils etc but you dont really need to go to that extreme imo. luckily i only did 1 service in mine as it was done 500miles before i bought it and when i sold it there was still 1500 mile before it was due again. The Galant - Mazz - 14-04-2018 they nose dived in price now, we got our vr for 2200 as well, but u can still get em cheap as 1800, and a VR4 should be marked up with the vr4 badge, if in doubt look in the bay and it should look something like this..... ![]() sorry tis the only one of our bay i could find and we had stopped to have some dinner, but it needed heating up! he was in a galoon, they are a bit lighter then the estate, and he was giving it some! you dont buy pne to pu$$y foot about in, they are a good powerfull car and to drive one like ya gran would, well there is just no point! lol well IMO anyway. and just stick with the SPIII oils and its good
The Galant - SHAHZ - 14-04-2018 So the tubbys are the vr4?? Well the mrs won't be booting it anywhere with the kids, but I can make up for that when I use it, not sure on the 4500 miles service intervals though hock:
The Galant - Mazz - 14-04-2018 yes the tubbys are for the vr4! but iv got the best of both worlds, the non tubby and the tubby, and im not on about the owners! i know its a short service interval, but it is a highly strung engine that is good going, i was glad i was using it one day when some j3rk off in a merc tried to run me and my 2 boys off the road in it, i hammered the breaks on, he almost went into the back of me then tried to chase me in it... thanks god for it being built like a tank and handles so forking well! The Galant - SHAHZ - 14-04-2018 Mesobitchy yes the tubbys are for the vr4! so does the v6 have the same service intervals?? The Galant - Mazz - 14-04-2018 nah, the V6, service once every 9 or 10k, alot cheaper to run, about half the power of a vr4, but you can push it alot more and reach its limits, rather then a vr4 where the limits dont ever seem to appear! i would go for a V6-24, get the full leather set up with climate controll and cruise controll, try and get a late 1998 onwards as they uprated to twin pots, if you do get a FL UK spec one, then you might be lucky to upgrade to brembos! The Galant - SHAHZ - 14-04-2018 That sounds better.......and are there any problems with the box on these......Am i right in thinking that they were last made in 2002? |
