Posty's IS200 SE - posty - 13-03-2019 Well today I fitted the boost gauge I bought. It was a pig of a job, my hands just dont go into gaps that small. but i eventually won! In a temporary position untill i sort out some other gauges and make a pod for them! ![]() Im not too clued up on boost etc etc. but i get to a fraction under 0.3 when accelerating hard at about 5k revs. Does this sound good or bad? Posty's IS200 SE - Moley - 13-03-2019 That sounds about right Posty Posty's IS200 SE - dandydons - 13-03-2019 Congrats guys - am pretty sure the hole in the pipework was where the air sensor was ! Posty's IS200 SE - Sparkystav - 13-03-2019 That makes sense but i always fitted it before the changer when the airs not pressurized, it fitting it in the pressurised pipework you should make sure youve got a good seal Posty's IS200 SE - posty - 13-03-2019 the air sensor went into the bottom of the induction kit! there was a hole there for it. Posty's IS200 SE - Bandit - 13-03-2019 Think that hole might of been the one i had in it? i had an extension pipe there which was sealed into the hose for the air sensor :whistling: Posty's IS200 SE - dandydons - 13-03-2019 posty the air sensor went into the bottom of the induction kit! there was a hole there for it. thats the one mate. Posty's IS200 SE - Jambo - 13-03-2019 dandydons thats the one mate. Yerh, the hole/gash in the pipe was from Bandit, as it was from the air filter area, so the O2 sensor could get into it.... Posty's IS200 SE - ormi - 13-03-2019 Bandit Think that hole might of been the one i had in it? i had an extension pipe there which was sealed into the hose for the air sensor :whistling: it was a straight cut mate you couldnt put a extension piece in their it would never seal??? Posty's IS200 SE - ormi - 14-03-2019 Tape won't seal a pressured system.. The hole for the sensor was approx two inches from the cone filter on the bottom... |
